MentorAbility Northwest Territories: Bridging Distance through Connections

The newest MentorAbility Hub to join our national network covers the vast area of the Northwest Territories (NWT), a region that is diverse, both geographically and culturally, and is advancing in terms of employment inclusion.

Our Network

MentorAbility Canada operates through the partnership between the CASE national team, MentorAbility Hubs, and Community Partners.

This strategic network supports in:
  • increasing mentoring connections and opportunities,
  • enhancing facilitation, research, and networking, and
  • raising awareness to advance employment inclusion for job seekers experiencing disability.

MentorAbility Hubs

The initiative is coordinated by CASE and implementing partners, called MentorAbility Hubs. Hubs are CASE member organizations who coordinate program activities in their province or territory.

The Hub coordinators also establish partnerships with other supported employment service providers and community organizations to increase reach and the number of MentorAbility mentorship matches.

Spotlight: New National Employer Partner Mentors

Each month, we shine a spotlight on new mentors from our national employer partners. Here, you’ll find their role and company as we celebrate their commitment to creating meaningful mentorship opportunities across Canada.
"The courses provide good knowledge and the staff is approachable and able to cater to our understanding without any compromise on the standards, regulations and guidelines. I would recommend taking up this course with them as it is a necessity to learn professional skills."
Nick Dawson
"Armed with the knowledge and techniques obtained from your school, I feel more equipped to navigate the challenging social aspects of the real world and become a professional in my field of choice."
Sue Porter
"I would definitely recommend your school to anyone hoping to pursue a career and be a professional. The support they provided to their students was simply outstanding and the genuine interest and care was obvious and incomparable."
Jenna Bright

Regional Partners

In addition to our national partners, Hub Coordinators are always working to expand the network of employers in their provinces and territories. These partners may participate in mentorships and events or be involved in research activities.

Your Hub Coordinator will have a list of individual mentors and other employer partners in your region.
Please contact your Hub Coordinator if you are looking to find a mentor for your next mentorship.
